Alexander J. Michaels, also known as Alexis Michelle, is an American drag queen and singer.

He gained fame on the ninth season of RuPaul's Drag Race. In 2019, he became an expert in makeup and body image on the TLC show Dragnificent. He also released an album called Lovefool in 2018.

Alexis Michelle's journey started at the Interlochen Center for the Arts. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in musical theatre from the University of Michigan.

He began doing drag at 10 and had professional gigs from 2003. He's related to singer Lisa Loeb and shares a drag lineage with Dusty Ray Bottoms from season 10.
