She is most recognized for her portrayal of Mindy Chen in the popular Netflix comedy series, Emily in Paris, and for originating the character of Gretchen Wieners in the Tony Award-nominated musical, Mean Girls in 2018. In addition to these accomplishments, she has been honoured with several accolades, including nominations for a Tony Award and a Grammy Award.
Notably, she has also appeared in various theatre productions, such as The King and I's 2015 Broadway revival as Tuptim and as MwE in KPOP Off-Broadway, produced by Ars Nova.

Career
Park began her acting career in 2009 as Yvonne and an ensemble member in Miss Saigon in Wichita, Kansas. She continued to perform in various productions and earned her Equity card with the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera.
In 2014, she made her Broadway debut in Mamma Mia! and later portrayed Gabrielle in the original U.S. national touring company of Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella. Park returned to Broadway in 2015 as Tuptim in The King and I, earning a Grammy Award nomination for her performance.
She appeared in the Broadway revival of Sunday in the Park with George in 2017 and then portrayed MwE in the off-Broadway musical KPOP, winning a Lucille Lortel Award.
Park originated the role of Gretchen Wieners in the out-of-town tryout of Mean Girls and received nominations for numerous awards for her performance. She left the production in 2019 and later landed the role of Mindy Chen in Netflix's Emily in Paris, which premiered in 2020.
Park has also been involved in other projects, such as the cancelled revamped production of Thoroughly Modern Millie for New York City Center Encores!, the original podcast soap opera As the Curtain Rises, and the benefit concert presentation of Ratatouille the Musical.
