Fred Hechinger is a multi-talented American actor who has also worked as a co-producer and music video director. He made his big-screen debut in 2018, playing the character Trevor in the coming-of-age dramedy film Eighth Grade. However, his first foray into acting was in a theatrical production called Now That We're Men.
The following year, in 2019, he appeared in the drama film Human Capital, which was directed by Marc Meyers and based on the novel of the same name by Stephen Amidon.

In 2021, Hechinger received critical acclaim for his performance as Simon Kalivoda in Netflix's horror trilogy Fear Street. He also played the lead role of Quinn Mossbacher in the first season of HBO's The White Lotus.
