Patricia McCormack is an American actress known for her roles in theater, films, and television.
Starting as a child actress, McCormack gained recognition for her portrayal of Rhoda Penmark in Maxwell Anderson's psychological drama The Bad Seed (1956). Her Broadway performance was acclaimed, and she was nominated for an Oscar for her role in the film adaptation.
She continued acting in both film and TV, playing notable characters such as Helen Keller in the original Playhouse 90 production of The Miracle Worker, Anne Brookes in the ABC sitcom The Ropers, and Pat Nixon in Frost/Nixon (2008).
McCormack appeared in various TV shows, including Magnum, P.I. and The Sopranos. She made her film debut in Two Gals and a Guy (1951) and appeared in the TV series Mama from 1953 to 1956.
