Originally a skateboarder from the Los Angeles area, he was known for his association with the hip-hop collective Odd Future. Smith appeared in the collective's music videos, vlogs, and their Adult Swim TV show Loiter Squad, and also performed with the group and its members on stage.

Smith began his music career in 2013 with his first recorded verse on Tyler, the Creator's second studio album Wolf, featuring on the track Trashwang. In 2014, after appearing in the Supreme video Cherry, Smith co-founded his own hardware/apparel brand, Hardies, with Tyshawn Jones. In 2015, he collaborated with former Odd Future member Earl Sweatshirt to form the duo Hog Slaughta Boyz. In 2018, Smith made his acting debut in the commercial film Mid90s, directed by Jonah Hill. His first studio album, Twothousand Nakteen, was released in 2019 through A Dream No Longer Deferred Records and Narcowave.
Notably, Smith is related to Kareem Campbell, a professional skateboarder, as he is his nephew.
