Nathan James Sykes, a British vocalist, is widely recognized as a former member of the boy band The Wanted.

Sykes, along with his bandmates, appeared in the reality TV show The Wanted Life, which aired on the E! channel in 2013.

Following the band's temporary break in 2014, Sykes began pursuing a solo career. His first single, Kiss Me Quick, was launched in July 2015 and gained significant success, topping the US Dance Club Songs chart.

At the young age of six, Sykes began showcasing his vocal talents through singing. He participated in several competitions in 2002 and 2003, emerging as the winner of the Britney Spears Karaoke on The Saturday Show and also triumphing in one of the categories at the Cheltenham Competitive Festival of Dramatic Art.

Additionally, he attempted to represent the United Kingdom in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2004 held in Lillehammer. Even though he finished in third place in the finals with his song, Born to Dance, he was outdone by Cory Spedding and runner-up Andrew Merry.
