17 Fashion Names To Know Now According To Cult Instagram, Up Next Designer

Fashion insiders know that Up Next Designer (UND) is the IG hotbed for emerging talent. Founded by Brooklyn-born Albert Ayal, the platform is not only for discovering the freshest of names, it’s also a go-to for celebrity stylists to dress their clients in cutting-edge creations.
“It’s about having a space to showcase talents that I discover and then be able to assist their growth in the industry,” the 26-year-old tells Vogue of his account’s main incentive. “Being able to help up-and-coming designers reach career milestones is truly a dream.” From pairing up Singaporean designer Grace Ling with Jennifer Lopez, or London-based George Trochopoulos with Dua Lipa and Kendall Jenner (amongst many others), it’s become clear that with one single shared post on UND, a designer’s career can change drastically.
“It all started when I put Kylie Jenner’s stylist in touch with an LA-based designer named Erika Maish. Kylie ended up posting pictures wearing the looks and then started following my account,” says Ayal. “Being recognised by someone of her stature, when I was just starting out, was a big deal, because it proved that there was potential for UND to expand.”
