10. Lindau
The historic city of Lindau is in the eastern part of Lake Constance (Bodensee), close to where the borders of Austria, Germany, and Switzerland meet. This may have less to do with Venice sinking into its own foundations and more to do with the rising sea levels in the Adriatic. Pumping water into the soil beneath the island city is one suggestion for elevating the city above sea level.
