Unilorin Students Protest Massively Over ASUU Strike

The Academic Staff Union of Universities has embarked on lingering strike since 14th of February and yesterday, the body rolled over its ongoing strike for another 12 weeks.
Early today, Unilorin students' union under the leadership of Comr. Waliu Taofeeq aka OMOLUABI, organise a peaceful protest against the incessant ASUU strike which has marred students academic stability.
According to Comr Omoluabi statement, We have to let FG know that we are tired of staying at home, we have students tagged as HANGING GRADUATE, they cannot graduate if ASUU strike its ongoing. That's why we decide to come to the street.
Next week, FG is meeting ASUU national executives council, we want them to reach common agreement. If they don't give us a positive feedback next week, we will go back to the street, block the roads, shut down the airport, he added.
The General secretary of the union, Comr Issac Adewole aka Excellent on his part, To be a student of Federal Varsity, I'm tired of this issue and we will not stop this, we will continue to agitate for our rights, we continue to speak until our voices are heard.

We will continue to block everywhere, we will continue to storm everywhere, no market will be open. This is a preamble, if they don't open our campuses, we are shutting down, Comr. Excellent added.
