Irrfan Khan was an Indian actor whose full name is Sahabzade Irfan Ali Khan. Khan was well-known internationally for his work in movies from India, Britain, and the US.
He acted for over 30 years and won many awards, including a National Film Award, an Asian Film Award, and six Filmfare Awards.
He received India's Padma Shri in 2011 and a Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award posthumously in 2021.

Cause of Death
On April 28, 2020, Khan was reportedly admitted to Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital for treatment of a colon infection.
However, he passed away on the following day at 53 years old.
His mother who was aged 93, had died four days earlier in Jaipur.
