Liz Cho, who majored in journalism and history at Boston University, is an American news anchor currently serving as a local news anchor for WABC-TV in New York City. Her journalism career began as an assistant editor in Newton, Massachusetts for New England Cable News, followed by a reporting role in Miami, Florida for WPLG. Cho then joined ABC News in Chicago, Illinois, where she served as a correspondent for ABC NewsOne.
Cho's notable accomplishments include co-anchoring the overnight news show World News Now and serving as a correspondent and fill-in anchor for the TV series Good Morning America. She began anchoring WABC-TV's First at 4:00 newscast in 2003 and co-anchored the 6 pm Broadcasts starting in 2012.
