He also directed the romantic vampire drama Let Me In (2010) and the highly praised science fiction sequels Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014) and War for the Planet of the Apes (2017).
He's best known for directing the superhero film The Batman (2022), starring Robert Pattinson.
Reeves moved to Los Angeles with his family when he was five years old. There, he became captivated by movies and started making them at just eight years old.

He often directed his friends and used a simple camera. At a young age, Reeves befriended J. J. Abrams, who also became a filmmaker. Some of their early films even aired on a local TV channel called Z Channel.
