AKSU Shuns ASUU Strike, Announces Resumption Date For Students

The management of the Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) has announced the resumption date for the commencement of academic activities for the 2021/2022 academic session.

The Senate of Akwa Ibom State University at its Meeting came up with the following decisions;

Note that all the fresh students should report to their respective campuses on Monday, May 16, 2022, and commence registration for the 2021/2022 academic year on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.

All returning students should report at their various campuses on Monday, May 23, 2022, and commence registration for the 2021/2022 academic year on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.

Lectures begin for fresh students on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.

Lectures begin for returning students on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.

All students and staff members are advised to adhere strictly to the above decisions of the Senate.
