UNILORIN To Start Paying Students Loan To Accounts Of Applicants

This is to inform the University Community especially the students who issued out NELFUND loan application for the 2022/2023 academic session that the university has received N52,897,890 (Fifty-Two Million, Eight Hundred and Ninety-seven Thousand, Eight Hundred and Ninety Naira Only) only from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to disburse to the beneficiaries.

It has to be noted that the benefactors had already cleared their school fees for the Academic Year 2022/2023 before the university is being paid by NELFUND. Thus, it should not be misconstrued by the students that further disbursements will be made direct to them. Thus, the loans take care of the student’s fees owing to the borrowers

In light of the above development, it is collaboration with the University Bursar and Dean Student Affairs Unit to see through the relevant funds to the intended recipients without a waste of time.
