Lewis was born on April 13, 1972, in Rutland, Vermont to a Jewish mother and a Catholic father of Italian, English and Welsh descent. At the time of his birth, his parents were living in a log cabin.
Education
He moved to New Hampshire when he was 8 years old and lived there until he was 12 years old. When his parents split up, Lewis moved with his father to Longmeadow, Massachusetts, where he attended Longmeadow High School. He is currently 51 years old. Lewis' zodiac sign is Aries.
Career
Lewis co-founded the band Staind in 1995. He was the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist and primary songwriter for the band.
Staind went on to release seven studio albums, with five of them reaching multi-platinum certification in the United States.
Some of Staind's most popular songs include It's Been Awhile, So Far Away, and Outside. The band has sold over 15 million records worldwide.
