Biography
Brandon Tyrone Marshall played professional football for 13 seasons in the NFL as a wide receiver.
He started with the UCF Knights in college football and was selected by the Denver Broncos in the fourth round of the 2006 NFL Draft.
Over his career, Marshall also played for the Dolphins, Bears, Jets, Giants, and Seahawks. After retiring, he became a TV personality, formerly co-hosting FS1's morning show First Things First and currently co-hosting Showtime's Inside the NFL for seven seasons.

Marshall is famous for his tackle-breaking skills. In the 2007 NFL season, he led all wide receivers in yards gained after first contact. Cornerback Brandon Flowers once described him as a defensive lineman playing wide receiver, highlighting Marshall's desire to gain yards by avoiding tackles. Cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha praised Marshall's ability to resist tackles one-on-one. Despite his successful career, Marshall never participated in a playoff game. He holds the record for the most career receiving yards (12,351) among receivers who never played in the postseason.
Notably, on December 13, 2009, Marshall set an NFL record by making 21 receptions in a single game against the Indianapolis Colts. He achieved the rare feat of catching over 100 passes in three consecutive seasons from 2007 to 2009.

In his first year, he caught two passes for 18 yards and a touchdown. In his second year, he had 27 receptions for 363 yards and two touchdowns. In his third year, he had eight catches for 84 yards and made an interception on defence.
His best season was in 2005 as a senior when he had 74 receptions, 1,195 receiving yards, and 11 touchdowns.
