Jon Wellner is a well-known American actor recognized for his portrayal of toxicologist Henry Andrews in the popular TV series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
Wellner played the character of Andrews for ten consecutive seasons until 2015. Initially, in season 4, he was hired as a researcher to ensure the show's factual accuracy.
He appeared as a zookeeper in season 5 and later secured the role of Andrews. Additionally, he continues to work as a researcher for the show. Together with his co-star and researcher David Berman, Wellner founded a research company in 2009.
The company is involved in providing research services for several other popular forensic TV series like Bones, CSI: Miami, and Drop Dead Diva.
