Lea Michele is an American actress, singer, songwriter, and author. She started her career as a child actor on Broadway, appearing in productions of Les Misérables, Ragtime, Fiddler on the Roof, and Spring Awakening. She gained fame playing Rachel Berry on the Fox series Glee, for which she received an Emmy nomination and won several awards, including People's Choice Awards and Teen Choice Awards.
