She first met Bruce Lee when he visited Garfield High School to do a kung fu demonstration; at the time, Bruce was a student at the University of Washington. She eventually enrolled in his kung fu classes while attending the University of Washington and pursuing a teaching degree.
On August 17, 1964, they were hitched. Linda needed a few more credits to graduate. Brandon Lee and Shannon Lee are their two children.
