Over the course of her career, Norah has made significant contributions to several mainstream media outlets, having previously co-anchored CBS This Morning, worked as the Chief White House Correspondent for CBS News, and filled in as a host for CBS's Sunday morning show, Face the Nation.

Norah's family background is rich in diversity, as three of her grandparents were immigrants, and her maternal grandfather resided in the United States illegally for a span of 16 years. When Norah was just three years old, her family relocated to San Antonio, Texas.

During her formative years, at the age of 10, her family spent two years living in Seoul, South Korea, where her father was assigned to work at the Yongsan Garrison.
