William Houston, an English actor known for his work in both stage and screen, was born on 19 July 1968. The Central School of Speech and Drama provided him with his training. Houston's performances in various classical stage productions have garnered recognition.

He has played notable roles such as Troilus in Troilus and Cressida, Prince Hal in Henry IV (both parts), and Henry V, for which he received a nomination for the Evening Standard Theatre Award for Best Actor.

He has also portrayed Sejanus in Ben Jonson's play and Coriolanus, all performed for the Royal Shakespeare Company. Additionally, he appeared as Pentheus/Agave in Sir Peter Hall's production of Euripides' Bacchai at the National Theatre.
