It advised test takers to text the word UTMERESULT to the same mobile number they registered with, either 55019 or 66019, in order to receive their results through text message.

The Board said in a statement by the Head of Public Affairs and Protocol, JAMB, Fabian Benjamin: To check the results, all a candidate needs to do is to text UTMERESULT to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number that he/she had used for registration.

It should be mentioned that the applicants' status would be revealed when they examined the results once they were released.

For example, the response would be: YOU WERE ABSENT, RESCHEDULED, OR UNDER INVESTIGATION with regard to candidates who were absent, rescheduled, or under investigation. As a result, the only candidates who do not fall into any of these categories would receive a result.
