BG Rapper Biography

Christopher Dorsey is a famous American rapper from New Orleans, Louisiana, known as B.G. He started his music career at just 12 years old when he signed with Cash Money Records.

Dorsey grew up in Uptown New Orleans and faced challenges, like his father's death during a robbery when he was 12. This led him to sell drugs and hang out with drug dealers. He discovered his love for rapping while in middle school and got a big break when he met Bryan "Birdman" Williams in a barbershop in 1993. Birdman and his brother "Slim" helped him and signed him to Cash Money Records.

At 15, he dropped out of high school and faced struggles with heroin, but his passion for music stayed strong.
