During his MBA, DeWolfe created Sitegeist, a project combining Citysearch, Match.com, and instant messaging. This inspired him to co-found Myspace in 2003.
He played a role in Myspace's $580 million sale to News Corporation in 2005 and remained CEO until March 2009. Myspace drew over 135 million monthly visitors during his tenure.
