Daniel DeSanto, a Canadian actor, studied at the Martingrove Collegiate Institute and Ryerson University. In 1989, he made his first appearance in the movie La famiglia Buonanotte.
He then starred as Matt in the television series The Adventures of Dudley the Dragon from 1994 to 1995, and voiced the role of Carlos Ramon in the TV series The Magic School Bus from 1994 to 1997.
From 1994 to 2000, DeSanto captivated audiences as Tucker in the series Are You Afraid of the Dark?. He also lent his voice to the character of Ray in the TV series Beyblade from 2002 to 2005. In addition, he had a recurring role as Blaine in the series Totally Spies! from 2006 to 2010, and starred as Major Glad Marin in the series Combat Hospital in 2011.
In 2013, DeSanto voiced the role of Dave in the TV series Total Drama All Stars. Apart from his TV work, DeSanto has also made notable appearances in movies such as The Freshman, Half Baked, Mean Girls, Gooby, The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day, and Breakaway.

Career
At the age of 8, DeSanto made his acting debut as the lead protagonist in Brown Bread Sandwiches (a.k.a. La famiglia Buonanotte), a film about Italian immigrants in Toronto written and directed by Carlo Liconti.
Prior to his first screen role, DeSanto had appeared in a juice commercial with Canadian figure skating star Elizabeth Manley and was an avid hockey player. He attended Martingrove Collegiate Institute and graduated in 1999. After graduating from MCI, he went on to attend Ryerson University for Film Studies.
DeSanto is most recognized for his roles as Tucker in Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Jason in Mean Girls (2004), The Assassin in The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day, Matt in The Adventures of Dudley the Dragon, and the voice of Carlos Ramon in the TV show The Magic School Bus.
