Biography
Dillon Danis is an American mixed martial artist in Bellator MMA's Welterweight division. He also competed in the Pan Jiu-Jitsu No-Gi Championship.
He started his MMA journey at Bellator 198 by defeating Kyle Walker with a toe hold in the first round. At Bellator 222, he used an armbar to win against Max Humphreys in the first round.
During UFC 229, a brawl occurred when Khabib Nurmagomedov threw his mouthpiece and leaped toward Danis. Danis responded with punches, resulting in a $7,500 fine and a 7-month suspension.
Despite earlier plans to fight KSI, Danis withdrew due to inadequate preparation. Currently, he's preparing to face Logan Paul on October 14th at X Series 10 – The Prime Card.

Danis attended Parsippany Hills High School and began wrestling as a freshman, despite struggling to do pushups. His interest in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu began at 15, and he earned his black belt at 21 after winning high-level tournaments.

He continued to help Conor prepare for the Khabib Nurmagomedov fight, although Marcelo Garcia distanced himself from Danis before the Diaz match.
In 2018, Danis made his MMA debut at Bellator 198, defeating Kyle Walker with a toe hold in the first round. His next fight was at Bellator 222, where he faced Max Humphreys at a catchweight of 175 lbs and won with an armbar in the first round.
As of 2023, Danis confirmed he still has two fights left on his Bellator contract and plans to complete them in 2023, with at least one more fight to follow.
