Carl Eugene Lilly Jr., known as Gudda Gudda, is an American rapper from New Orleans.

He moved to New Orleans as a baby and grew up in the 9th Ward. At the age of fifteen, he became friends with Lil Wayne during a dice game, long before he thought about rapping.

Lil Wayne mentored him and even wrote Gudda's first rap. They formed the group Sqad Up with other rappers, and Gudda was featured in seven mixtapes they released between 2002 and 2003.

Gudda later signed with Young Money Entertainment and Republic Records.

In 2005, Gudda Gudda became one of the first artists to join Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment.

Gudda was there when Lil Wayne started Young Money. Soon after, Gudda signed with Cash Money Records and Republic Records.

On May 26, 2009, Gudda released an album with Lil Flip called Certified under Real Talk Entertainment, and it got good reviews. Then, on September 28, 2009, Gudda released his first solo mixtape called Guddaville. It had songs with Lil Wayne, Drake, and Nicki Minaj. Gudda said it's his way of sharing his thoughts and feelings.

Gudda Gudda also worked on Birdman's album Pricele$$ and was a big part of Young Money's We Are Young Money album, with hits like Every Girl and BedRock. He was also on Lil Wayne's I Am Not a Human Being album.

In 2010, Gudda released Back 2 Guddaville with guests like Waka Flocka Flame and Lil Wayne. But for two years, he didn't release much music.
