Jake Paltrow is an accomplished American film director, screenwriter, and actor. Born in September 1975 in Los Angeles, California, he is the son of Bruce Paltrow and Blythe Danner, and the younger brother of actress Gwyneth Paltrow.
Paltrow is also related to other notable personalities, including his uncle, Harry Danner, and his cousins, Katherine Moennig and Gabrielle Giffords.
Paltrow has directed several episodes of popular television series, including 10 episodes of NYPD Blue from 1997 to 2014 and two episodes of Boardwalk Empire from 2013 to 2014, for which he received nominations for Best Direction in a Drama Series at the Online Film & Television Association Awards in 2013 and 2014.
