Previously, he anchored the CBS Evening News from 2017 to 2019. Glor was born in Buffalo, NY, and graduated from Syracuse University in 1997 with degrees in journalism and economics.
He began his career as a news anchor in Syracuse and later joined CBS News in 2007. Glor covered significant events and won an Emmy for CBS Sunday Morning.
He became the permanent anchor for the CBS Evening News in 2017 but left the position in 2019. Since June 22, 2019, Glor has been co-hosting CBS Saturday Morning and serving as a CBS News special correspondent.
