Tamron Hall is a television talk show host and American broadcast journalist. She received a Daytime Emmy Award for her self-titled syndicated daytime talk show that debuted in September 2019. Prior to this, Hall held various positions such as a national news correspondent for NBC News, a daytime anchor for MSNBC, and the host of MSNBC Live with Tamron Hall.

She also co-hosted the third hour of Today known as Today's Take. Additionally, she hosts the show Deadline: Crime on the Investigation Discovery channel. In the summer of 2016, Hall investigated Guns on Campus for a TV special on Investigation Discovery, which marked the 50th anniversary of the tower shooting at the University of Texas at Austin.

Tamron Hall began her career as a general assignment reporter at KBTX in Bryan, Texas, before moving on to KTVT in Fort Worth, Texas, where she served as a general assignment reporter for four years starting in 1994. From 1997 to 2007, Hall held several positions, including consumer reporter, general assignment reporter, and host of Fox News in the Morning, a three-hour program, at WFLD-TV in Chicago, Illinois. During her time in Chicago, Hall frequently reported on issues related to local politics and covered significant breaking news stories, including a devastating Amtrak accident in Illinois.

In July 2007, Hall joined the national news network MSNBC and NBC News, and even managed to secure a one-on-one interview with Barack Obama before he announced his candidacy for the United States presidency in 2008. At MSNBC, she served as a fill-in anchor and general reporter, gaining recognition as a substitute anchor for Keith Olbermann on Countdown with Keith Olbermann. Hall later co-hosted The Big Picture, a two-hour program with David Shuster from June 1, 2009, to January 29, 2010. She also anchored on the weekends and substituted for Natalie Morales.
