Andre Darnell Reed is an American former American football wide receiver. He was a wide receiver for the NFL's Buffalo Bills for 16 seasons.

He played college football at Kutztown and the Bills picked him in the 1985 NFL Draft's fourth round (86th overall).

He was in the Pro Bowl seven times during his 15 seasons with the Bills. In 2000, he played his last season with the Washington Redskins.

Reed is currently 15th in all-time NFL touchdown catches (87) and ninth in all-time NFL playoff catches (85). He helped the Bills reach four straight Super Bowls: XXV (1990), XXVI (1991), XXVII (1992), and XXVIII (1993). Find more about DeMarco Murray.

When he retired in 2001, Reed was second in all-time NFL career receptions. He became a part of the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2014.

Reed went to Kutztown University, where he switched to wide receiver. The NFL noticed his speed and durability. He set nine school records and ended college with 142 catches, 2,020 yards, and 14 touchdowns.

In 1985, the Buffalo Bills drafted Reed in the fourth round (86th overall). He played for them for 15 seasons, from 1985 to 1999, helping them reach four Super Bowls. In 2000, the Bills released him along with Thurman Thomas and Bruce Smith due to salary cap issues. The Bills struggled until the 2017 playoffs.

Reed's big moment was on January 3, 1993, in a playoff game against the Houston Oilers, known as The Comeback. Despite a 32-point deficit, Reed caught three touchdowns in the second half, aiding Buffalo's rally. He finished with eight catches, 136 yards, and three touchdowns. The game is one of the NFL's greatest.

In 2000, Reed joined the Denver Broncos but was low on the depth chart. He asked for release since he wouldn't play in the 2000 season opener. He then joined the Washington Redskins and retired after 2000.
