Craig Roberts, a Welsh actor and director, has an extensive career in both television and film. From 2005 to 2006, he played the character of Rio in the TV series The Story of Tracy Beaker, followed by his portrayal of Robin in Young Dracula from 2006 to 2008.
In 2011, Roberts starred as Adam in Becoming Human, and since 2014, he has played the character of David in the television series Red Oaks. Roberts has also appeared in several films including Submarine, Jane Eyre, Red Lights, The First Time, Comes a Bright Day, The Double, Neighbors, 22 Jump Street, and Kill Your Friends.
In addition to acting, Roberts wrote and directed the 2015 film Just Jim. For his role in Submarine, Roberts was honored with a BAFTA Award for Best Actor in Wales and a London Critics Circle Film Award for Young British Performer of the Year.

Roberts launched his TV career with roles in the dramas Care (2000) and Little Pudding (2003) and later featured in The Story of Tracy Beaker (2004-2006), Casualty (2005-2008) and Young Dracula (2006-2008) as Robin Branagh, a vampire fanatic. Additionally, he appeared in Kiddo (2005) and Scratching (2006).
He toured the UK with Y Touring Theatre Company in 2008, performing as young Ryan in Full Time, a play that delves into issues of racism, sexism and homophobia in football. In January 2009, he acted as the evil queen's sidekick, Drax, in the pantomime Snow White at Worthing.
Roberts achieved worldwide recognition in 2010 for his teenage lead role in the film Submarine, based on Joe Dunthorne's 2008 novel. The movie, directed by Richard Ayoade and co-starring Paddy Considine and Yasmin Paige, brought him acclaim.
