Damien landed his breakthrough role in Jamie Kennedy's movie, Malibu's Most Wanted, where he portrayed Tec, the former boyfriend of Shondra (played by Regina Hall). He has also written and directed multiple episodes of his uncle Damon's sitcom, My Wife And Kids. Additionally, Damien and his cousin Craig Wayans wrote and produced segments for his uncle Damon's sketch comedy show, The Underground, which aired on Showtime in 2006. He directed several segments of the show as well.
Damien made his directorial debut with the film Dance Flick, which he co-wrote with Keenen, Shawn, Marlon, and Craig Wayans.
