Gavin McGregor Rossdale, an English guitarist, gained fame as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the rock band Bush. He co-founded the band in 1992 and subsequently assumed the role of lead singer and guitarist for the Institute when Bush disbanded in 2002.
Later, he pursued a solo career before rejoining Bush upon their reunion in 2010. In recognition of his musical accomplishments, he was honoured with the British Academy's Ivor Novello Award for International Achievement in 2013.
