Kurt Metzger is an American comedian, writer, and actor. He won awards for his work on the TV show Inside Amy Schumer.
Metzger grew up in Toms River, New Jersey. He was a Jehovah's Witness and became a minister at 17 but left at about 21. As a kid, he liked watching An Evening at the Improv and Comic Strip Live.

Kurt Metzger started his stand-up comedy career in New Jersey, then moved to Philadelphia before performing in New York City.

In 2006, he appeared on Showtime's White Boyz in the Hood and later on Comedy Central's Live at Gotham in 2007. In 2009, he was in an episode of the IFC series Z Rock.
His first comedy album, Kurt Metzger Talks to Young People About Sex, came out in 2011 through Comedy Central Records. Comedy Central also aired his half-hour special in 2009, and his one-hour special, White Precious, is on Comedy Central.
