Sherry Lansing is an American philanthropist and former film studio executive.
She was Chairwoman of the Universal Music Group board of directors and served as Chairman and CEO of Paramount Pictures and President of Production at 20th Century Fox.
From 1999 to 2022, she was a member of the University of California Board of Regents. In 2005, she became the first female movie studio head with hand and footprints at Grauman's Chinese Theater.
She was recognized as one of the 30 most powerful women in America by Ladies Home Journal in 2001, and The Hollywood Reporter ranked her number 1 on its Power 100 list multiple times.

Lansing attended the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools and graduated in 1962.
