In 2011, Siddharth Nigam kickstarted his acting journey by featuring in a Bournvita commercial. His impressive portrayal caught the attention of the makers of Dhoom 3, who then offered him an audition to play the role of Young Sahir/Samar. Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the film was released on 20 December 2013 and received rave reviews. Taran Adarsh from Bollywood Hungama praised Nigam's performance, calling him a talent to watch out for, while Suhani Singh from India Today complimented his self-assured acting and charming presence.

After making a successful debut in films, Nigam made his television debut as Young Rudra in the mythological drama series Maha Kumbh: Ek Rahasaya, Ek Kahani, which aired on Life Ok television from 15 December 2014. He also played the lead role of Young Ashoka in the historical drama series Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat in February 2015.

Nigam has also made guest appearances on various shows, including Comedy Nights with Kapil's special Mahashivratri episode in February 2015. He participated as a contestant in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9 in 2016 and portrayed the characters of Young Shivaji in Peshwa Bajirao and Bindusara in Chandra Nandini in 2016 and 2017, respectively, alongside his brother Abhishek, who played Bhadraketu.

From 2018 to 2021, Nigam essayed the role of Aladdin in Sony SAB's Aladdin—Naam Toh Suna Hoga and was last seen as Shivaay in Sony SAB's Hero – Gayab Mode On. He is set to star in the film The Shoonyah: Chapter 1 - Blow of The War Horns and will be seen in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan in April 2023.
