Tito Jackson is an American musician. He's known for being part of the Jackson 5, later called The Jacksons, in the late 1960s and 1970s under Motown, and later, in the late 1970s and 1980s under Epic. In 2003, he started a solo career in blues music.
When Tito was ten, he started playing his dad's guitar and impressed his dad, Joe, who bought him his own guitar. Joe encouraged Tito, Jackie, and Jermaine to start a singing group due to their impressive vocals.
In 1964, Marlon and Michael joined the Jackson 5 after their mom, Katherine, discovered their singing talent. Before signing with Motown, the brothers spent time rehearsing at home, juggling school, rehearsals, gigs, homework, and bedtime.
